Bricks and Stone

I really like bringing the feel of the outside brick into the home. My favorite is around a fireplace or on a back wall in a kitchen. I like stone but it would not be my first preference. But please do check out some of these great rooms! Xo Daisy~

  1. Lovely! Especially the first pic with the warm sand coloured bricks. Lovely change from the darker, cooler red ones. And I agrre - stones are perhaps a bit too rustic.

  3. Oh I love internal brickwork as a feature... LOVE that flickr image, with the high ceilings and low lights. I am having a smooth random stone type tile around my fireplace... not too rustic... just enough stone to look warm and homely.
