ReplyDeleteI'm sending you a story to read and to know that one day you and your precious pet will be together again and that Jonsie is fine and happy now.
The Rainbow Bridge
Right next to Heaven, there is a place called The Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies, which has been very close and loved by someone here on Earth, it goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our friends
where they run freely and play together. Food, water and sunlight
are abundant and our friends are feeling happy and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vitality.
Those who were hurt or wounded are made whole and strong again -
just as we remember them in our dreams of the days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one little thing - all of them miss some very special person they have left on Earth. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance with bright and loving eyes.
In an instance it jumps out of the group, flying over the green grass,
his legs carry him faster and faster. You have been spotted and when you and your friend finally
meet, locked in joyous reunion, never to be parted. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into
trusting eyes of your creatures long gone from your life but never absent from
your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge.
Together forever ...
So sorry...
ReplyDeleteHugs from another lover.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry Daisy! Our dear little dogs bring us so much pleasure, happiness comfort and love. Losing one is like losing your own heart. I hope that your sweet baby is playing in Doggy Heaven with my Bitterman and Binkie.

I am so sorry you lost Jonsie. What a sweet baby! I have a little chihuahua named Shadow Dante and I know I won't have him forever, and it breaks my heart to think of that day. But I do believe in the Rainbow Bridge and a place where animals play happily--and wait for us!

So sorry to hear about your loss. I have a 13 year old Boston Terrier, who is almost blind and deaf and still adjusts to life. I cannot imagine your pain.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad, poor you.
ReplyDeleteOh sweety, I hear you, feel for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI've followed your blog for some time, but never left a comment, until today. My heart goes out to you. As someone with no children(only furry ones), I know the pain of losing them. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 3 dogs-all rescue. I'm taking my angora kitty cat of 17 years to the vet today and hoping that it's not time to put her down. It's the hardest decision to make. You're sweet Jonsie was so precious-reminds me of my little Rat Terrier Maggie Mae. I hope in time your heart will heal and you'll be able to open your arms to another. They're God's precious gifts to us for only a time-and such a short time it is. I'm sure Jonsie will be waiting at the gates of Heaven for you as I know my little furry children will be for me. God Bless you and may he continue to heal your heart thru this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteHi, I always enjoy visiting your blog, but this time I had to stop by and tell you how sorry I am to hear about your loss. What a sweet dog. It is so hard to loose our furry kids and I hope in time you will only remember the happy memories.
