It's my little Boy's 7th Birthday Today~ I just can't believe he's already 7!!! He's growing up too Fast- It seems just yesterday we were just bringing him home from the hospital. I am so Proud of Him! He's the best and I love him so much! I'm going to have to stop by the store today and pick him up a cake to go with a brown sugar pork tenderloin I am planning to make tonight! Wish me luck....I rarely cook!!
On another note~
Well, we are half way through the week.....the weekend is almost here!! Isn't that awful? It's like I am wishing my days away, but the Friday we are suppose to be leaving to go to Memphis to visit Graceland! Has anyone been there before? I just love Elvis, so it will be exciting! Is there anything else I should do besides visiting Graceland...such as good places to eat or shop?
I'm showing some of my favorites of the classic colors: Black and White!!! I believe, you can never go wrong with these colors!

My first born is 4... I don't want to even think about 7, happens too fast! But Graceland sounds like a blast. Hope you have fun! And i just love the arm chair dining, so great!
ReplyDeleteI so agree...black and white is my home...with robin egg blue added in for some accent...love these images today my friend. xo
ReplyDeleteLovely Photos. Very Inspiring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! Happy Birthday to your young man :-)
ReplyDeleteHaven't been to Graceland ... but would love to go! Enjoy :-)
That first image is gorgeous! The landscaping in the background, the iron gates in the foreground and the overall feel is inviting. Happy birthday to your son. I too, love Elvis! Christmas isn't Christmas in our house unless we decorate the tree listening to Elvis holiday tunes! Do you do that?
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let everyone that I "follow"; don't forget to come over and enter my giveaway! Today's the last day :D
ReplyDeleteHi Daisy
ReplyDeleteFirst I would like to thank you for the earrings and pin you sent me. The felt pin will be kept for a Xmas present. It will look fab on a purse I have in mind.
Happy birthday to your little man. Pork tenderloin with brown sugar, a little Lee Perrings and lime is even better marinated.
Now we have been to Graceland. The kids were all under 10. WE LOVED IT. It was very humbling to be standing on Elvis's grave in the back yard. I could feel him everywhere.
Enjoy.

Have fun at Graceland. My Dad & sister went once and they also visited Sun Records and some of the blues "joints" where Elvis first started.
ReplyDeleteI love black and White but I always feel it isn't complete without a pop of color to set it off. Thanks for the gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I am enchanted! I am a Mom of two boys so I am loving all the feminine inspiration here. Being a relatively new blogger(about a month) I hope you can hop over to my blog and I would love any tips or advice you could spare so I can reach my full potential of the blogging experience.
ReplyDeleteI could live in that kitchen! Beautiful images. So love the black and white!
