The Kids and I have been doing the traditional Christmas things at home........
Decorating the house.....
No our house doesn't look this fancy but they did cut out snow flakes on white paper and hanged them everywhere around the house.......any place they wanted!
I tried to upload my own photos of our creations and to show you the Christmas tree too but for some reason my computer isn't working right to do that and I am not that computer savvy, so I had to use these photos instead :)
Then we decorated Ginger Bread Houses............
Again they don't look so Fancy but we had a really good time!
Gumdrops, sprinkles, Icing, gingerbread of course....how could one not have fun!
Great idea for kids!!!! We haven't actually done this yet, but we will. Buy a white plate ($1 store) and let the kids make a picture with sharpie pens, then bake @350 for 30 minutes.
These make awesome Christmas Gifts too for Grandparents!
Make your own Lollipop Ornaments......get polymer clay, bake, glue on sticks and string then hang on your tree!! Please click on the link to learn more.
I wish I had the patience and the skill to use polymer clay...My mom uses it to make doll heads but I usually make a mess. I might gather the courage to make those lollipop ornaments tho...They look to cute!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time decorating w/ your lil ones. I hope your holiday season continues to be as fun! =)
