I use to not really fancy the whole rustic-shabby-look, but now I am just loving it. I think if you put certain pieces together just right- it looks lovely. The old needs to be paired with something new to give it a fresh-look! But if not done right I think it can look kinda sloppy and not to pretty! Just my opinion though. So what do you think?

Notice the wooden Oak floor in this bathroom. It adds such character to it.
I love the rustic white furniture with the wood showing through in the first few pictures. Do you know how to achieve this look? I want to do my dining room table like that and am not the craftiest person.

ReplyDeleteI completely ADORE the rustic chippy look. Your inspirational pictures are amazing. I agree that kind of texture looks so much more fabulous when grouped with something gilded or ornate and natural flooring.
